This is the tint of choice for all scenic artists I know. It’s affordable, and the balance of colors they give you in a set is fantastic.
This is one of the few supplies that I buy regularly that Rosebrand doesn’t carry. I usually buy this from Mann Brothers , a scenic painting supply company out in California. Their only downfall is not having an online catalog with prices. Their set comes with fourteen 16 oz bottles, that includes nice, vibrant versions of all the primary and secondary colors, a nice selection of other accent colors, and a bottle of extender. It is a tinting paste, as opposed to powdered pigment. I use these all the time with latex, acrylic, caseins and other water soluble scenic paint. In theory, they also work with some alklyds and other paints, but we don't use those too often in theater, so I haven't tried. Add as favorites (66) | Quote this article on your site | Views: 691
