Someone sent me this site today, and I found it so inspirational I wanted to share it with the world, so I'm starting here.

The murals on this site are fantastic.  There are so many things a scenic artist can marvel at in them.  It's hard to tell where some start and end, especially the bridge with Niagara Falls on the side of the mall.

The site is http://www.xs4all.nl/~orcl0606/Oracle/NWG/NeedAPainter.html.

As a scenic artist, what is particularly interesting is that he does these vertically and on a hard surface.  When we paint vertically, say on a paint frame, it's usually on muslin which helps prevent running.  More often, we paint horizontally.  Granted, time limits are probably a bit more harsh in theater.  His job looks like a lot of fun, and he is obviously skilled at what he does.
