One of my favorite sites to browse while between work is backstagejobs.com . I've never actually found a job for myself there, but there is always a lot listed. They have a partner blog called The Contact Sheets, and are running a contest there.
It is a photo contest, and all you need to send them is a pic of you and your buddies working backstage. It's that simple. You could win some fun stuff, but it's also a chance to get your face and name out there. Call it a form of distance networking. Hey, it's fun too. For details visit this page . See you there.
